First, justinsane you are probably talking about the mog workshop crafting bot, if so, you probably didn't install the MSXML4.0 SP2. This was happening to me, then I installed it and its been working fine ever since. And as far as the adding items goes, I can't help you there, but it would be a lot easier to use the mog workshop that evildr made, it already has tiger masks in it.

The window name the that rogue tools automatically has is "FFXiApp-Windower Enabled", and for the Iocaine and other ACTools bots to work it needs to be "FFXiApp - Windower Enabled". Its just the spaces before and after the dash that are different. This threw me off for a while, becuase it looked so similar and I kept wondering why the Iocaine didn't work, it was the window name.

I think your problem may be that either you have an outdated 7in1 program before it autoupdated, where the lag was built into the bot, in which case just dl the newest bot, or you have too many things runningin the background for the bot to work properly.

Afk tools lets the burners bots communicate with FFXI, and I have let the bot run all night with either no bait or out of stamina, so I got a crapload of you didn't catch anything messages, I've had hours upon hours of errors, and nothing has happened to me. Maybe I'm just lucky, but those errors won'te really do anything to get you caught.

Your 7 in 1 is corrupted I believe, the symptom of the unreadable first screen is what I'm basing it on. To fix it, just use the clean-up utility from burners or uninstall the 7-in-1 and redownload it. Also, redownload the windower, that may be its problem with the failed to send settings to game error.

No. A bot could never do this. It is believed that there is an algorithm that determines what you lose, and it is serverside. Besides, it would be a hack, not a bot that would do it, even in the unlikely event that it was clientside.

Meh, its kind of fun for the first couple of sessions you do it, but then it gets really old really fast. It is also kind of aggravating sometimes when the rod just sits in the center position for a long ass time, and even though you are like 20-30 levels above the fish, you still can't catch it.
