Oct 18 Update
Looks like the Oct 18 Update broke stuff.
Probably just moved memory locations etc around again.

I'm pretty sure they have put some code in that, if it doesn't automatically detect speed abnormalities, it at least "red flags" you so that if a GM has time they can zoom in on you and confirm it.
Basically I would say to everyone that flee tools and the like have become very high risk of late, a roll of the dice.
Even the old tricks of "use inviso" and "make sure nobody is around" don't seem to save people anymore.
I'd recommend that everybody quit using speed hacks, unless they don't mind the bans.

LOL.... Coming from *YOU* this is CLASSIC. I Love it when someone complains about others doing to them EXACTLY what they themselves do unto others. IE you can dish it out, but can't take it back, eh?t0xIc wrote:Easy does it asshole, I was asking for direct download, I found it myself, even though its a long download, and if you have nothing to say, don't say anything, specially just to piss someone off and +1 your post count.
ROFL this is so great.

Re: F! PLAYONLINE
This is what happens to me everytime my motherboards get over a year or so old. I'll start getting POL crashes. At first you think it's RAM, or Video, or overheating, etc but in my case last TWO times it's been MSI motherboard that was the problem.
End up having to build a new system to fix it.
I wonder... any chance your motherboard in your PC is from MSI?

Re: General Computer Help
Try this:
Remove the video card and install your old one back temporarily.
It's possible the new video card is causing a hardware conflict which is disabling your I/O controller for the drives.
If this indeed fixes it, install the new video card software first, and then shutdown and remove the old card, and plug in the new card.
Hopefully when the system comes back up, you'll get auto plug-and-play detection and it will setup your card correctly without conflicts and everything will be working.

FFXI Crashing all the time
Anyone else having a lot of problems with POL lately?
I'll be playing FFXI and get the "POL encountered an error and has to close" bit.
It happens randomily. and sometimes, over and over in a row.
It's happening on two different machines of mine, so I'm wondering if it's some sort of problem with the new ToAH, or maybe the new Windower, etc etc
The problem seems to relate to the hook.dll file.
Thanks if you have any suggestions....

Although if they go to the effort of banning a CC# I suspect they also ban the name that was tied to the CC. Possibly, but that's harder then you'd think because unless your name is really rare, there's ALWAYS ppl who have the same name as you. Plus you can get credit cards with slight variations on your name.... such as Full First Name, Middle Initial, Full Last name, or just Full First Name, Full Last Name, or Full First, Full Middle, Full Last. etc, or you can use husband's, wife's, etc etc I suspect that SE will ban CD key#'s but that's as far as they go. I think actually they'd *like* the idea of someone buying ANOTHER copy and then sig...

Re: SE's account banning procedures
It's easy to get another credit card from your same bank with a different number tho if you want.
Although for some ppl this is a bigger pain due to automatic billing or whatever but it's still easy to do.
So I suspect if your CC # did get locked you could just get another and start again.

From AC Tools forums, Edgecomm: "ok everyone I was bored so I went poking in the FFXI code... and found some things.... they implmented memory scanners IE for you ppl that like to just nuke a fish I would not reccomend it......... they made the base change at random more so then it used to.. they also have reg moniters now so for all u haxz0r$ I do not reccomend trying to write reg or modifing the memory they also added cycle memory this includes all types.... example the memloc's are gonna change in game at random....." .... follow by this: (Argusmetal) "Even though I don't read assembly well, and haven't dipped my hands in AC...
