I saddens me to say, I'm going to have to discontinue Iocaine services starting 3/31/24. My hosting service that takes care of the Iocaine back end is discontinuing support for Python based back end and that's what I used to write all of the Iocaine stuff. I definitely do not have time to rewrite it with something else. So unless someone with the right skill set volunteers to help switch everything over, I'm going to have to shut it down.

Supporting Iocaine has been a great experience and I'll always be appreciative of the community here. All the best!

On Monday, August 15 we will be performing proactive maintenance on your MySQL server from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM PDT. During this maintenance window we anticipate approximately 30 minutes of intermittent connectivity disruptions to that MySQL service. All other DreamHost services will remain unaffected.

Hopefully folks will come up with a crowd sourced fix. Iocaine works on the retail client and I only support retail servers. The fact that it worked on a private server before was coincidental. I cannot support multiple clients natively.

Hi all, I apologize, but my recent changes broke the server <--> client interface, which means everyone will need to download the zip file again from here: https://forum.ffxiscripting.com/viewtopic.php?f=267&t=5408 You don't need to put these into a new directory, you should be able to copy them into your existing Iocaine2 folder and run Iocaine2.exe. It worked on my side. Please let me know if you have any trouble. The main fix was to reestablish the server connections for the fisher which have been broken since March. So you should no longer see "offline" notifications and your fish stats should save again. I still see some is...

It looks like they finally broke something after YEARS of the memory locations being stable.
I'm off next week and was planning on fixing the server access anyway. I'll take a look at this, too.

I found a little while back that the server is not saving statistics and could have some other issues depending on what you're doing. I hadn't been able to dig into this until today.
My hosting service applied some new security protocols a while back and apparently the Iocaine client-server interface breaks some of these protocols.
At this point, I'm not sure if I'll be able to disable the protocols, upgrade my service, or if I'll have to rewrite the interface. Either way, it's going to be this way for a bit longer. Very sorry for the inconvenience.

The previous services upgrade in October was postponed until November 23 (this Monday). This will affect connectivity and may require a version update. Details to come.

I use that in combination with the Iocaine PL bot to JP and sparks farm. I got 2 characters to all max JP's (all jobs) in a relatively short time. I also capped my gil on 1 account doing that.

Hello all, I've been getting a number of requests (from our very small remaining community) to update Iocaine to support usage on the Nasomi server. https://na.nasomi.com/ There are a couple of reasons I will not be doing this. 1, (which is the deal breaker) From what I've read, Nasomi uses the FFXI client from 2005 (thus the 'legacy' aspect). In order to align Iocaine with that client, not only the offsets and memory signatures would need to be rolled back to a point in history before they existed (Iocaine2 wasn't around until 2008), but the way things work in game are often different.
