I had a wireless setup for awhile. Eventually grew to dislike it tho. The way my desktop is set up, I had no real use for it. Plus batteries get expensive. Plus some wireless mice have a poor frequency, I have heared.

I find it very hard to believe that a non-default location of the playonline directory could be causing your problem. I have my FF on a seperate drive ("D:\FFXI\..."). And my Burnersware directory is "C:\Program Files\Burnersware\..." This sounds like a software issue of some sort in your machine. I am near certain that a re-install of FF will not fix this for you (although a format and fresh windows install might.)

You have a 865PE chipset, like me. That means that you can't use PCI-E video cards in your machine. A regular PCI slot (like you have) will not work. You need a AGP video card. I reccommend NVIDIA 6600GT AGP. There are other specs to keep in mind as well. Higher end AGP cards need their own power connector on the inside to run. Which means that it will use alot more power than your 5200. So make sure your power supply is around 350Watts or more with 20 or more 12v amps (and that you have an extra unused power connector). I went from a Geforce 5700LE to the 6600GT, and the card is badass. There may be other/better AGP cards out there, but AGP ...

yea it launches automatically every time you start ffxiscripting. to clarify, you dont have to "set up namesetter", just dont use any other name setting apps or plugins or whatever.

If you want to be able to use Rogue Tools at the same time as Iocaine (without re-logging to switch between the two), you can do that. Edit the Iocaine script file "Iocaine Mem Reads.mac". Not far from the top of the page, you will see a line say, "GameCaption = FFXiApp - Windower Enabled". Remove the spaces before and after the hyphen so it says, "GameCaption = FFXiApp-Windower Enabled". Save the file and exit. Now run Rogue Tools like normal, making sure that you are using the nameSETTER plugin (in the directory "..\Burnersware\Rogue Tools\Include\Plugins\azwindower\plugins\namesetter\")with its defau...

The blue arrow doesn't appear (for me) until during or after the character select screen. Are you logging all the way into FF before you assume its not working? If it doesn't work after logging all the way into the game, I can only assume it's a resolution issue.

Nope man. I got 2 hard drives... Windows main install and all my shit is on the "C:" drive...... My "F:" drive I got is a SCSI drive dedicated just for the FF files. I never had a single issue running any Burnersware ever with that setup. And when you don't get that ble arrow, are you using FF windower.... Because If yu use Azaril windower and have the NameChanger1.0.dll plugin loaded, Rogue Tools won't work.

hrmm. that sucks man. but while there may be some compatibility issues between ATI and Intel, I'm certain that its inaccurate to say that all ATI products are incompatible with all Intel products.
