I think the "balancing patches" you're referring to are that SE gives an xp bonus to smaller parties with signet on. This was just the update back in March, so I'm sure you can look it up on their site or any other ffxi site around for details. But its still not like WoW or others where you can solo you're way to the top. [img]{SMILIES_PATH}/PDT_13.gif" alt="/:(" title="Frown" />

Not with the Rogue Tools fishing bot. Search the forums for Iocaine and you'll find the Iocaine fishing bot. It's more complicated to set up, but it works extremely well and you can set it to only catch whatever fish you want (and not catch monsters). Make sure you read the main forums on how to set it up. Pretty much every problem that has ever come up with Iocaine has a solution posted somewhere. Give it a try.

What's really dumb is that they respawn in like 3 minutes and in some places there are multiple gobs on one beach (secret beach in dunes). This totally kills the xp camps there (also at the lake in Qufim). Seriously, why does SE need 3 on one beach that all respawn in 3 minutes? I mean, if you're a low level botter, you can't even beat 1 and if you're higher level, they don't agro, so what's the point? Sorry for ranting, just thought it was a good idea (from SE's point of view), but implemented poorly and hurt all players in the process. Totally agree w/ Toxic. Not only might GM's troll about more freely, but anyone else could as well. I don't want anyone and everyone downloading Iocaine, Mog's WS, or any of the other unique programs you have here. I'm in the process of writing a proggy now that I haven't seen anywhere else before. If Burners went free, there's no way I'd post it here. I'm sure it would get out to the public anyway, but not nearly as quickly as if Burners were a free for all. Granted, more content would be nice, or something else to bring in new discussion, but shouldn't be free. Just my opinion. [img]{SMILIES_PATH}/PDT_11.gif" alt="/8)" title=...
i didnt want to start anything morons your to quick to judge others. I'm sorry dude, but I have to question the validity of your legal knowledge. 1. The quoted sentence isn't coherent, at best you're missing some commas. 2. It would be slightly difficult to make a written legal case when you don't know the difference between "your" and "you're". "Your" is used when referring to someone being in possession of something, "you're" is YOU ARE which is what you should have typed. 3. Same goes for the words "to" and "too". You meant to use "too" meaning an excess amount of somet...

Wow, I can't believe they actually quit both of their jobs for FFXI, that's pretty sad. At least they were playing together [img]{SMILIES_PATH}/PDT_04.gif" alt="/lol" title="LOL" /> I totally agree with what they said about certain people being more vulnerable to addictions. Unfortunately, I'm one of those people that gets easily addicted to things so I can sort of sympathize with her situation. I've been a borderline alcoholic and I smoked for 11 years and both of those were easier to quit than FFXI would be if I quit right now. I know this is most likely NOT your problem, but this topic came to mind. Might try it just in case.

Web page issues?
Hey guys, its Hammy. Is anyone else having trouble logging on to the website or is it just me? When i try to enter my user name and password it goes to an error page with error 404, page not found. And its on multiple PC's, so I don't think its just my cache or something. Any suggestions?
Edit: Ok, apparently I AM logged in, but it doesn't show that way on the front page like it used to. It just shows the loggin fields and "Welcome Guest".

I got something similar a few days ago. Some how it worked its way out and I haven't gotten it since. But now, after I open burnersware using the FF windower I get a DOS window that just hangs around in the background and burners stuff never comes up. The windower still works and the game runs, but no burnersware. I suspect the two issues are related, but not sure. I don't know of anything that I did to make the original error go away.
So basically, I've just been running without Burnersware, going straight to the ffwindower launch.
