No, you have the right version. Burners just released 1.0 over the weekend. It was not a full release before that (thus, it was a Beta).

Its undetectable in the fact that they cannot see that you're botting by looking at your player's status. The bot is not changing anything on your PC, it is only reading data passively. This means that SE would have no idea whether you are entering the keystrokes manually or your bot is doing this for you. However, if a person is afk and does not respond to a /tell from a GM, they will most likely get suspended (happened to me). Other programs such as POS, Flee Tool, and Iocaine (with killfish enabled) actually write over data in your PC's memory which could be detectable by SE. So, in comparison, the Rogue tools bots are undetectable as oppo...

Yes, that's what I meant. The 7 in 1 bots are undetectable, but the other Rogue Tools ARE detectable if SE uses countermeasures to look for mismatching data between the server and your client.

They can't detect you using the fish bot unless you're using Iocaine's killfish feature. Even then, its only in theory and I doubt you would get caught anyway considering there are tons of people that use it. From my experience and from what I've read, fish botters normally get busted when they don't respond to another player's /tell. There are a lot of people that look for botters and if they suspect you, they'll send a /tell. If you don't respond, they'll call a GM. Then the GM sends you a /tell. If you don't respond to that, you're most likely getting suspended. With that said, picking a secluded spot has worked for me. Got busted botting ...

Its been doing the same for me for a while. But it crashes and give me the ole "Do you want to send Microsoft an error report, bla, bla, bla. Its been doing this since the last SE update or maybe Burners update, not sure. I normally just use the FFWindower though.

To be honest, I couldn't stand the last intro song or the present one either (no offense to you guys who do). All you have to do is take a song that you like and copy it into the C:\Program Files\Burnersware\Rogue Tools\Include\BGM folder and rename it intro.mp3 (and delete or rename the old one). This will allow you to play whatever music you like. You'll have to do this again whenever you update Burnersware.
Hope that helps.

I agree with that. However, this would also imply that bards get free Mazurka and pretty much everyone gets free striders since the national aketons are level 1. But then again, most jobs at level 38 can wear powder boots which let you flee. And the rules change for anyone on a chocobo. All I'm saying is that there are a LOT of variables. No doubt that SE can handle this simple coding, but it makes it much less black and white for us since we really don't know what we can and can't get away with.

Man I wish I could play at work. My company has certain ports blocked. I can log into POL, but can't get the FFXI data to come through. Best I can do is remote to my PC at home, but remote control doesn't work well with games. Best I can do is check on my fisher from time to time. ^^

Well, I think if you get suspended, you're probably starting fresh when you come back. Although I have heard of people getting 72 hour suspension and right after coming back get it changed to perma ban. But I think your question is, are you going to be banned later on for hacking/botting prior to being suspended? I really doubt that. If you stay clean, they've got to be pretty cold hearted to perma ban you later on. And considering you're paying them to play, its not likely. With that being said, it is still possible that, say, this time they suspended you for flee/pos tool, but you also used zero-wait (just as an example) or some other hack....

If you got the normal 72 hour suspension, they count that starting at the next server reset (currently 8am Pacific, 11am Eastern). Then 72 hours or 3 days after that, then you will be able to log into POL (not ffxi) and call a gm to lift the suspension. I'm not sure exactly what day and time the suspensions started, but it will be 3 days from the following server reset. Does that make sense?

I followed the link in the original post above and registered in their forums. There is quite a bit of information on the private server project and it is really fascinating. I also saw a post, I think under developement, for help with non-coding stuff, so anyone with an active FFXI account can probably help. Just read some posts to figure out who the developers are and PM them to ask how you can help. As soon as I get a little more time, I'll probably hit them up as well. It really does look like an awesome project. :drunk:

That's really weird about the left Windows key not working with FFWindower. Mine works every time and it annoys the heck out of me. If you lose full screen by using the left windows key, I don't know of a way to get full screen back. And the window goes below the task bar so you can't see your bottom line of text and some other info unless you hide your task bar. The only thing I can think of is trying to reinstall the windower by reinstalling Burnersware. It could be that your keyboard isn't sending the correct ASCII (or whatever code that key uses) code back to your PC (maybe an old keyboard?), but if the key works outside of FFXI then its ...
