80070002 error for burnersware.
Hi everyone. I am currently using burnersware on vista. i have been able to get windower working by downloading the latest version directly and copying over all files. thing is that burnersware is not working when i get in game. it does come up with the bernersware menu where i choose which windower i want to use but burnersware doesn't work after the game launches. i am not sure but i think it is a script error or something. after playonline starts up i get an error in the background (80070002). not sure what is going on. anyone have any idea what this is? also if there any fixes for vista yet? any help would be nice. thanks.
I had it working on vista premium when vista first came out but I dont know what changes have been made to vista and ffxi since then and I refuse to run vista now to find out.
I suggest getting win xo back and never look back, I cant even name on 2 hands all the apps that I use frequently that just DO NOT work on vista or work but with extreme comprimises.

wow burn. i am suprised that you don't want to try and take a stab at this. well i understand. i know vista has issues but i don't think it is wise for me to get xp. I already have the windower program up and running. it is just something in the bern code. whatever. i guess i just waisted my money.
I cant write code in vista, none of my programs work. I dont know why anyone would even want to run vista, if its for the pretty effects just run a brico pack with transparency and VIOLA vista looks with xp reliability
btw- It wasnt all my prorgams not working that sealed the deal for me, Nope it was when I ran some benchmarking programs and after building a pretty hardcore gamming rig I was getting a really pathetic score because vista is a serious resource hog with piss poor programming, and that was with 2gb ddr2.
Went back to XP and scores went through the roof.
I couldnt justify spending all that money on my system for it to go to waste because of an OS.

you need to get partion manager if you want to dual boot and make a partion for xp since xp wont install over vista but will install on another partion with vista on the computer. after installing xp on the new partions you can use partions manager and easybcd to get rid of the vista loader and partion and expand the xp partion this way u can get all you email and bookmarks ect from the vista partion
