maybe there just trying to scare us all, or maybe this is for real. I dont know, but seems like they are really trying to crack down.

this is from SE main site for FFXI

Policy
In October we will be forming a special task force to concentrate solely on locating those players violating the user's agreement. This team will be separate from the GMs and will work directly with the development team.
Since we realize it is often difficult to convict a player based on in-game evidence alone, we will continue to search for new ways to prove someone has been involved in restricted activities.
We promise that we will continue to work diligently to rid Vana’diel of all players using illegal tools and plug-ins.

Hmmm SE will kill themselfs. about 2/3 of the players use a windower, plug-ins, and a little less than 1/3 uses hacks lol they are making a big mistake IMO.

Although there would be a good side maybe RMT will have to claim mobs normal and prices will go down on the AH.

the RMT will still have a huge adcantage when claiming, think about it, when was the last time you have seen every claim on a NM for the last two+ years? they know everything they need to know about the NM they hunt

The heavy implication is that they will be instigating code to monitor terminal side activities. We'll see if they do and if so how they handle it.

Keep in mind that if they went as far as monitoring terminal side activities then they would not only be able to tell if you were using a third party tool but also which one/ what it was doing. So if they chose they would be able to seperate windower users, from botters, from hackers relatively easily. Not that SE would be likely to be considerate enough to aportion penalties based on the offenses lol .
