Cant get Shadowbane to work

It seems like a pretty fun game. I download, install, and for some reason, never got a chance to enter a CD key, but anyways, I got into the game, create a character, then when I go to get into the actual game, my screen flashes white a couple times, makes some wierd noises, then I get this error message.
"Microsoft Visual C++ Rutime Library
Runtime Error!
Program:...ram files\Ubisoft\Shadowbane - Throne of Oblivion\sb.exe
Abnormal program termination."

Maybe I need to download a new patch or something. Any help with this is appreciated, thanks.

It may have something to do with my graphics card? I have a Nvidia Gforce FX5200, and a Pentium 4 CPU 2.80 GHZ.

and the min requirements for the game is "

Know where I can get that patch? ima try and re install the game and see if that helps at all.

I got it to work. Just had to reinstall it, and lower the graphics settings. thanks for youre reply, Mods, you can delete this now if you want. Thanks.
