Get Imperial Faction While AFK

First bind a keyboard key to fire your weapon. I used right CTRL and used a joystick to hold it down.
You must have an area of affect weapon such as the Nickel Plated Targeting Pistol, Lava Cannon, or something like that. Once you have that go to the Weapons Factory on Talus and fight your way in untill you get to a room where you feel is safe or plentyful enough for you. Dont shoot at the floor because if someone dies where you were shooting you will try to loot them and stop shooting. Shoot at a wall or Something like a table that keeps you from looting but also gives you an area of attack. Do this all you want to get FP AFK.

You can try to get combat exp this way but it is a lot harder.
I got a lot of FP this way. I advanced 2 ranks in less than 30 minutes.
