Iocaine Server Outtages

Later today the IP of the server is probably going to change (my service is being upgraded). For some reason (which I can't remember), the IP is hard coded into the code. Which means that when the IP changes, the auto-update will also break.

So you'll have to download the new code from the site (once I fix the new address).

Once things are settled, I'll spend some time making sure this goes easier in the future. For now, please bear with me.

Edit 7/30: Ok, it didn't happen today (AT&T is run by Satan and his demons). Will update when I know more.

The new service is set up and running (new hardware, net IP, etc). I'm hoping that simply running the updater will fix any problems that people have.

Steps to try if you cannot connect for some time:
1. Run the updater (Iocaine2.exe).
2. If that doesn't work, download the new updater from the Download thread .
3. If that still doesn't work, create a thread in this section and I'll get on it.

I went to update my hardware and, as always, it didn't go to plan. Hopefully I'll be back up and running in the next 24 hours and no one will really be impacted.

Update: Things still aren't going well. I have the worst luck with Norton Ghost...

The server is down due to PG&E's incompetence and mismanagement. I'll reply when connection is restored.

I'm having services upgraded Thursday Oct 21st starting at 9am PDT. This will affect connectivity.
