I really enjoyed the thread about the ultimate PC setup for a low price. I was just hoping for some info on building the best PC for about a $800 price budget. I am looking to build my first PC mainly to optimize online games and to watch streaming porn videos (thanks to infamous).

Sorry about my random posts I am really bored at work.

Will any motherboard that I buy fit into any case that I buy? I'm still new to this and it is a learning process.

nope, you have to research everything and make sure they are compatible and everything. I kinda suggest getting a mac/ intel cpu and running windows on it. But anyway, you should probaly wait to buy anything. Pretty soon windows vista comes out(hopefully not delayed) + there are alot of socket changes sooon. Either you can get the new rigs or maybe one of the older computers. After next socket comes out i bet 939 will be cheap as hell

If you wait, you can get Vista instead of XP + get a better deal on stuff

Tonynlo, check out this site and look at any of the "Value PC Gaming Buyers Guides." This site researches the equipment and the value guides post systems that can be put together for about $1000. The guides explain why components were selected and its a good place to start. If you want to build a systed for about $800, I suggest you start with one of these guides and then water down the components a bit... ie slower processor or cheaper keyboard ect.
