Is there any step by step instructions for noobs like me? I can get sqlyog to see the mysql crap but cant do anything with it.

u can now play for free using pxi. and also fight mobs. Search for meteorxi to bypass pol on google

is anyone hosting a server we can play on?
I can host on one my server but if its get overloaded I would have to pay dedicated server and its not cheap

Is the Private Server thing still a option or was it canned? i've heard rumors of both. Please just message me a answer i check my mail on here WAY more then the forums haha

FFXI private server project got dropped quite a while back. I don't remember the website, but I remember finding their old site with a message that they abandoned it and were not going to open source it for various reasons.
